Ways to Give
At LIFEchurch, generosity is part of how we worship and join in what God is doing through our church. Below are the different ways you can give and what each fund helps support. If you have any questions or need assistance contact the church office here.
What it is:
Tithes & Offerings fund the day-to-day ministry of LIFEchurch — weekend services, next-gen ministries, outreach, and everything that helps our church disciple people and reach our community.
Why give here:
This is the primary way our church family supports the mission God has entrusted to us and keeps ministry moving forward every week.What it is:
Kingdom Builders is our annual generosity initiative that accelerates the mission beyond our normal ministry budget. It fuels local outreach, global missions, church expansion, and strategic opportunities God places in front of us.
Why give here:
For those who have already entrusted God with the tithe, Kingdom Builders is a way to give sacrificially “above and beyond” to see the Gospel advance further and faster.
What it is:
Donating appreciated stock will cost you less than making the same donation in cash. If you sell the appreciated stock you must first pay the capital gains tax and then donate the after-tax portion. When you donate appreciated stock you can deduct the full value of the stock and avoid paying the capital gains tax. The church receives the full value of the stock because, as a charitable organization, it is not required to pay the tax.
Why give here:
It allows your generosity to go further and supports LIFEchurch in a financially wise, tax-advantaged way.
What it is:
A Donor Advised Fund allows you to give through a charitable account you’ve already set up with an organization like Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, or another DAF provider. You can recommend a grant to LIFEchurch directly from your fund, making it a simple and flexible way to support ministry using resources you’ve already designated for generosity.
Why give here:
DAF giving can maximize your impact by allowing you to contribute appreciated assets, receive immediate tax benefits, and then recommend grants over time. If you already use a Donor Advised Fund, this is an easy and strategic way to support the mission of LIFEchurch.
What it is:
A secure way to give using digital currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum through a trusted giving platform.
Why give here:
It offers a convenient, modern option for those who hold crypto and want to leverage it for Kingdom impact.
What it is:
If you are 70½ or older, you can give directly from your IRA as a Qualified Charitable Distribution. These gifts can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) while reducing your taxable income.
Why give here:
It’s a simple, tax-beneficial way to support the ministry of LIFEchurch, especially for those in retirement.
This December, we’re inviting our whole church into Big Give December—a simple, prayerful step of adding an extra year-end gift to fuel ministry and help us finish the year strong. Whether it’s your first gift or an intentional step of generosity, every gift makes a real impact as we prepare for 2026.
Terminology
Tithe
Tithing is more than giving. The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
Beyond the Tithe
"Beyond the tithe" is anything you give beyond 10%. In Malachi 3:10, God says "Go ahead. I dare you. See if you can out-give me." Beyond the tithe is a chance for you to be extravagantly generous. You can give additional gifts to the basic needs of the church, or to assist with specific projects like those part of our Kingdom Builders program. So go ahead, test and experience God's generosity!
