In the summer of 2005 Rich & Christi Greene along with their four children felt a call from God to start a church that would connect with people who were disconnected or possibly alienated from church. Rich & Christi came with over 20 years of missionary and church planting experience with the Assemblies of God. Quickly a small team was formed and in November of 2005 Life Church was launched. The Coralville Recreation Center served as our first gathering place. Since then it has been our commitment to live by faith, to be known by love and to be a voice of hope in our community.

The journey has been exciting. We have experienced dramatic growth these past four years and today many people from all walks of life and diversity call Life Church their spiritual home.

We are a community of people who are in process. We have imperfect messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other. Everybody is welcome here, whatever your story, your questions, doubts or struggles. Were all about doing life together in community, being intentional about our growth and serving one another and our broader community as we go.
